Severe Weather Awareness for School Personnel is an introductory course to severe weather and appropriate actions. The learning objectives are:Define and identify various weather conditions.Understand the potential impact of each type of hazardous weather on personal safety.Identify and define hazardous weather responses required for each severe weather threat.Determine response procedures required for each severe weather threatRecognize warning notifications from the National Weather Service and state meteorologists.Identify appropriate severe weather sheltering areas.
